The place is a lodge with lodge like accommodations, but the location was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the sleep was decent. They had coffee and snacks in the morning for us and I was happy tha we chose this place on a whim to stay over some of the other places in the area. More

Stayed here overnight while traveling to Fallingwater/Kentuck Knob. Room simple but clean, nice porch with view of pond, free breakfast with cereal, fruit, donuts/bagels... breakfast area clean and large. Beds a little soft for our liking. Free wi-fi in room... staff very pleasant and helpful with directions. More

A friend and I stayed while visiting Fallingwater. We had a very good experience. The rooms were very clean - the bathroom was immaculate and the sheets were also clean. The beds were comfortable. The deck outside the room was great - it would be nice if there were a divider wall between decks to give a bit of privacy.... More

My wife and I would stay here again. We were visiting Falling Water and this was convenient place to stay. The place was built on the cheap so has no style. Our room was clean, everything worked, and the bed was comfortable. We got a good night sleep. The free continental breakfast was minimal but did the job. This would... More

We got the last room at this lodge on Labor Day weekend, with no knowledge of the local accommodation, so we were very lucky and we loved the place - the rooms are like little apartments with microwave and fridge, wide-screen TV, closet, full bath, even an iron and ironing board, and good wi-fi. There was a deck on the... More

We were visiting family and this was about 5 miles from their home. We had a great room witha balcony and a view of the lake. We brought our dog with us as they are "pet friendly". The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless... There is a nice lake that you are permitted to fish... no fishing license... More

Our room was spacious, clean and had a comfy bed; coffee on the sunny deck in the morning was perfect and the location is perfect for all the goings-on in the Laurel Highlands. The full kitchen was very convenient and the price was really right. Sure, it could stand some updating, but the cleanliness, price and family atmosphere will bring... More

The room was musty and smelled like an ash tray. The refrigerator had mold and was disgusting. We went to sit on the deck, however, the chairs and table were filthy. The last guest used the table for an ash tray. Also the table only had three legs and was unusable. The TV only got about 5 channels and reception... More

Wonderful setting in the middle of woodlands with its own lake. Perfectly placed to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob houses which are both stunning. Cabin itself a little basic but you should not be wanting to spend too much time in it! We arrived in snow and there were very few people staying at this time so... More
