I needed a place to stay for one night so as to divide a trip from Ohio to Connecticut. Danville, PA appeared to be about half way and the Red Roof Inn showed up among my choices. The hotel is very basic, which makes it fine for a one night stayover. (No breakfast is served.) The room was clean and... More

We stayed here on the first night of our vacation. The room was very clean, the staff were nice and the bed was comfortable. No problems here! More

Usually when on the road, I choose something along the lines of a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. It has been years since I've stayed at a Red Roof and since I was traveling solo on this trip, would be spending little time in the room and had friends staying there, I thought I'd give it a shot given... Very easy to find. Check in was quick and easy, everyone was friendly and polite. The room itself was clean. The room is small, but since it was just a crash pad for me, it didn't matter the size. The mattress was a little softer than what I'm used to, but adequate. I was happy with the wireless connection. The... More

Stayed 1 night on my way to Ohio. Fast check in. Room was ok for the price, clean, comfortable but dated. Some road noise but was ok. Park right in front of room, all rooms open to outside. Town with market just up the road. More

Well I stayed here based on others' reviews and I agree, this place is fine enough. The price was HALF of what the Best Western quarter of a mile away charges. Beds were comfortable, a/c worked well, shower could use a curved shower rod, but the water was hot and the bathroom clean. Bathroom fan loud. The 2 chairs could... More

Visiting Bucknell for the day on Sat, 4/14/12. Stayed here on Friday night since such a long ride from Baltimore. I am always a little concerned when hotels doors open to a parking lot, but took a chance since we were traveling on a budget. For $50, the room/hotel did the job. The room was clean, although smaller than I... More

We typically stay here when traveling from Ohio to NYC. It is usually reasonably priced at about $50, and we find it to be clean and comfortable. There are decent restaurants near by for breakfast. We will stay again if the price is right. More

Husband and I stayed overnight on our way to Cleveland from NY - we had our dog with us so we needed a pet friendly hotel and read other mixed reviews. Arrived at 1am and they were perfectly friendly and helpful....checked us in and while the room wasn't luxurious....it was clean. Room was quiet and we slept well, woke up... More

You can't go wrong with a room at the Red Roof Inn in Danville for $50. We stayed there on Saturday Feb 18th on our way to Centralia, PA. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door, Friendly's, is very convenient for travellers like us who arrived at about 6pm after driving over... More
