My Family and I had a fantastic time at Dingman's. The location couldn't have been any better and our site on the river was perfect. It'd be nice if they had a playground for the kids but they did have an open field for the kids to play ball. there was lots of site seeing to do around the area.... More

We stayed one night here on our way to Maine. Glad it was only one night. We had a beautiful site right on the river with a very large group of college aged students taking up the next two adjacent sites. They were too loud and too noisy well into the night. It was obvious that the "quiet hrs" beginning... More

Highest rating to Dingman's Campground. Every employee was friendly, helpful, and seeking to excel. The campground is clean and well maintained. There is separation between the RV with services, RV without services, and tent only sites. There are plenty of trees and bushes between sites for privacy. Even the port-o-potties scattered around were clean and top notch (running water to... More

This was our first time camping at Dingman's Ferry. We shared a large campsite with another family. Combined we were four adults and three children between the ages of 5 and 7. Overall, it was a great trip. We were meant to stay two nights, but there were severe storm and tornado warnings, so we decided to go up early... More

The camping experiance is,,,well...camping. probably like every campground I've ever been too. It is what you make it. Go on the Memorial Day weekend here and you will be treated to most, of the day music which was local bands but talented non the less. It was warm in the field but we camped along the river next to the... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend fir two nights at the end of august. We had a great experience! The site rental is cheap and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were fine, it's camping not a 5 star resort. I grew up in the mountains and have been camping my whole life, this place was great and... More

Just came back from a great weekend there. I was nervous as this was the first time camping with my kids ages 7 & 9. I grew up camping and the last time I had been there was 15 years ago. We were in a large group and we got in trouble with the "laugh police." It was funny to... More

I just spent four nights there over the past two weeks with my two teen-aged daughters. We loved it! We neither had nor saw any of the problems some campers noted in previous reviews. However, we weren’t loud late at night and we weren’t drinking alcohol. Except for our last night, when three loud families with young children camped next... More

My partner and I have been to Dingman's at least twice a year for the last 5. It's very quiet here, some of the sites along the river are small and some aren't. Just review the map on their website. In the woods sites are larger and quiet also....mostly adults at this campground, but in our experience even the groups... More

This is the worst campground I've ever been to. No Privacy what so ever!!!!! Theres no trees or bushes between you and your neighbors. Horrible experience. Your right on top of each other. The fire wood they sell there, soaking wet and damp. Would not light until we dried it out and used half a bottle of lighter fluid which... More
