We had to return as it had been many many years since we dined at the union canal house. We were warmly welcomed and the renovations are beautiful. Our server Dan was very attentive and helpful. The food was outstanding from bread to desert, very appetizing!

All other rooms had a window unit airconditioner. We were under the impression that our room would be airconditioned too-We did not realize that this room had no central air or a window unit when we placed our bags in the room to rush off to the park. If you want a place to stay, this is the place to do it. They have a resteraunt under neath the rooms and the food alone is to die for. Service was fantastic. The owner was there to welcome us when we got there. He showed us to our room and showed us "The Loft" which is a beautiful room... More

The room we stayed in was in need of some major updating. There was no chair in the room, an old tv set with no remote, a small shower stall, no cup in the bathroom, the mattress had no back support and a loose head board. We thought that this would be a great, smaller place to stay. The only thing this place had going for it was the location (close to the arena and park). We called ahead to let them know our arrival time and they said it was good. When we arrived (on time) no one was able to help us check in.... More
