Well located, away from hectic San Juan del Sur during eastern holiday, ideal for a family quiet stay. Although sufficiently comfortable, outside infrastructure needs some garden and paint maintenance. Very friendly but few staff members. Kitchen and restaurant were not fully operational, therefore they offered a limited number of dishes and drinks.
In the past 10 years I've probably spent 3-6 months annually in Nicaragua (incl the SJDS area). Always knew there were houses at Remanso Beach.... and something that looked like a private clubhouse on the southside of the bay.
But it was only this month that I became aware that the "clubhouse" was actually the "Remanso Beach Bar & Grill"...
