Our youngest daughter, her husband and our two grandchildren moved into our house for 3 days last week as their new house was not ready and courtesy of the builders we stayed at The Birkby Hall Lodge in Bailiff Bridge near Brighouse. . The accommodation is a converted stables with 3 self-contained bedrooms and a large dinning / lounge overlooking... More

Family celebration & family sadness necessitated the trip and a planned one night stay became two. Relaxed, friendly just as you would expect although more often than not do not receive. From the moment we arrived, things were easy, plenty of room to park, with the security of electric gates. Very nice rooms, situated a few yards from the main... More

This is at least our forth visit to The Lodge and as ever e were made most welcome by Janet and Steve. A piece of cake was waiting for us on our arrival. Our room was comfy, full of little extras, including a cafetiere and coffee, a real treat. The breakfast was great, with lashings of tea and coffee. There... More

Despite arriving late at night, I received a lovely welcome. The room (Calder) was just what I needed and the view in the morning spectacular. Breakfast cooked by Eileen, was just what I needed and she was so friendly, it did not feel I had arrived only a few hours ago for the firdt time. I will definitely be back!

2 night stay to research my ancestors in Brighouse on our way to Northumbria. We had the ground floor double, set up very well for disabled use, which explained the space and wet room facilities. We requested blankets which were provided without fuss. The guest lounge/breakfast room was comfortable and well equipped with a balcony to sit out on with... More

Stayed here whilst researching family history nearby. A little bit out of the way but worth the effort. This is truly 5 star accommodation. Our host Steven was great, recommended nearby pub for dinner which was very good. Breakfast was excellent Beautiful outlook from our room across farm land, very quiet.
