I have been to Healds Hall a couple of times and it is a small and VERY friendly hotel. The food is lovely and the staff very welcoming. it's easy to forget that is hidden away, but well worth the visit as a luncheon and evening meal venue

I enjoyed staying here on business. The building is quite attractive and the room was clean if rather basic. The breakfast was tasty, although the continental breakfast seemed quite limited. There was no yoghurt for example.
