I was intially pretty sceptical given some of the reviews but I have fallen in love with the Oakleigh. I am a lawyer and was here for a week doing a case. It worked extremely well. The wifi works (fast enough both in my room and in the dining room); the bed was comfortable; the breakfast is great; and Alma,... More

Coming from Torquay the home of Fawlty Towers,I spent 2 nights at this hotel,it has everything you wanted if you like The Fawlity Towers experience. The B & B had a pony tailed manager/owner,a slightly mad waitdress, and a lady who seems more at home in Buckingham Palace than a B & B The place I usually stay at is another... More

Arrived late and the owners were friendly and helpful in deciding where to go for dinner. The room and bathroom were spotless and the there as tea in bedroom which was a very nice touch. The breakfast was lovely, with both cooked and a cold breakfast available. It was also useful that it being started early allowing me to get... More

stayed for one night as we were in town for a function. We usually stay in hotels so things like no soap or shower gel or biscuits on the tea tray were the things noticed most. Having said that the hosts were welcoming, offering advice on nearby attractions and eateries. The breakfast was well presented and plentiful and the bed... More

When you choose a place to stay, you hope that the owners write an honest description about the place they run. Well with the Oakleigh Guest House you are guaranteed this. It makes no pretentious claims, but they do tell you you will get a good bed and breakfast. This is certainly true, I did have a couple of minor... More

lovely building with lots of period features although the decor is a little dated.. bed was comfortable enough and plenty of towels (although no shampoo or shower gel? perhaps these aren't the norm in guest houses as I normally opt for a hotel) the owners were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely.. well worth the money.

Have stayed here a few times wth my family and every time the owners and staff have been the most attentive and friendly people. The rooms are large and light and airey, the B & B does need a little updating with regards to decor/ furniture but all in all the best place to stay in Stourport-On-Severn !

I booked for one night at short notice. Our welcome was warm and relaxed, and our room was spacious with a restful view over the canal basin. The owners gave good advice for somewhere to eat and were happy for us to come and go at our leisure. We enjoyed the spacious proportions of the lovely old Georgian house, as... More
