We have eaten at the Great House Regatta and Ferryman's restaurants several times since Christmas. The food is beautifully prepared and cooked and the chef extremely helpful with dietary requirements (I am diabetic and allergic to onions so must have caused him something of a headache). Stayed here for 2 nights in April 2011as we were visiting the Mill At Sonning Dinner Theatre.Really enjoyed the stay.Nice room,good breakfast,good price as we obtained a special deal because we booked theatre tickets.It's in a lovely spot overlooking the River Thames.Would have no hesitation in stopping here again in the future. A poor experience - anonymous room with furniture that appeared to have shrunk, so it no longer filled the space; two near empty pillows; blankets not duvets; early morning grass cutting outside the window; a maze challenge to find breakfast, badly tuned tv.
