The location of this hotel is fantastic, being right on the River Thames in the beautiful village of Streatley. The hotel itself is in need of redecoration and maintenance. The staff were friendly enough. The restaurant offered a very limited menu on the night we stayed, although apparently this is not the norm. More

We read some bad reviews for this hotel but we had a fabulous experience - we booked a weekend away for a small group of friends - the river view rooms all had lovely balconies with fabulous views and the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast delicious - we would definetly go back again More

The hotel is right on the Thames riverfront, which makes for a delightful location. Our river-view room was large, well equipped and comfortable. Also wonderfully quiet. The Hotel is set in a lovely location and looks to be ideal. But be warned not 4 Star services or decor. Arrived reception just about looked up not very talkative not offered any help with bags just pointed in the direction of room.
