This is my staging post of choice when driving between the North of Scotland and the Midlands. Location is perfect, just 2 minutes off the M6. Hotel is modern design, functional and clean. Bar area is comfortable, food is good, staff friendly and helpful. Great value - well recommended.

lovely hotel situated on the M6, about 15 mins drive from St Helens. Easy to reach Liverpool or Manchester from there. New-ish rooms, clean and well furnished. comfortable bed and sofa. TV was somewhat lacking though, felt a bit small compared to room size. well worth it for what we paid though.
