Excellent could not fault anything. Lovely comfortable room, with a wonderful view of the river, sea and coastline. Dinner was excellent including an extensive local fish menu, and breakfast was superb. The staff were friendly and professional without exception. Wonderful overnight stay will certainly return. Just got back from a night at the Riverside, had one small problem which was dealt with immediately by the staff, staff very good, breakfast excellent, one minor niggle, the restaurant prides itself on using local produce, I asked what make the ice cream was and was told that it was just "generic stuff out of a plastic box". We were fortunate to have room 15, beautiful views from several windows. The room was large, bright and cozy at the same time. We were only booked to stay one night but enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed another. We'll be back.
