Went there a while back with my dogs & was made most welcome. The owners were fantastic even when my little old dog had an 'accident' in the bedroom. Fantastic breakfast with locally produce (loved the sausages) Was just looking to book again when I read the review about it changing to self caterting

I visited the hotel for the second time with a group of friends from Netley & District Branch of Royal Naval Association. We were apparently the last group to stay there as it will now be a self catering accommodation. I believe this is a great shame as Lisa & David are very warm hosts and we always felt like... More

A wonderful place for both humans and animals. The owners Dave and Lisa are very welcoming and knowledgable. The Cornish breakfast is a must - sets you nicely for long day outdoors! The rooms are bright and very comfortable. The beach nearby is both animal and family friendly. All the locals are friendly, it's a great little place and worth... More

There is a saying that 'you get what you pay for' but not at this little gem in the heart of the Cornish Coastline, you get a lot more from the genial hosts Dave and Lisa. Certainly one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in. Breakfast's were unbeatable and the rooms were spotless. Next time I visit Cornwall... More

We stayed here in April 2012 with our little dog. I have to be honest and say its the most beautiful b & b we have stayed in and allowing our dog to stay with us was the best part! Totally dog friendly, wonderful breakfasts (the eggs where to die for!). Walks down to the local pub in the evening... More

The accomdation was faultless and Lisa & Dave made us feel more than welcome. Our 2 dogs Buster & Marbles loved all the walks... More

I have just spent 3 nights at the Highfield Lodge. This is,without a doubt, the best Guest House I have ever stayed in. Our hosts Dave and Lisa could not have been more welcoming and could not do enough for us. I was in a party of 11 , mostly elderly. The accommodation, food and facilities were well worth the money. I... More
