A blood stained towel, dirty carpet, ripped duvet cover, no air conditioning, window opens barely a centimetre, no lift.
Good location.

I stayed at this Travelodge on the 17 may last week and I could not believe what I saw when I got my room I think it was 108 it was dirty had a smell to it like fish the walls had squashed moths on one wall and stains and marks on the others the soda / bed was full...

This hotel is disgusting.
Dirty bathroom, bath had pink fur around the taps, shower curtain covered in mildew, a dirty handprint on the bathroom wall the whole of my stay and a rusty filthy excuse for a rubbish bin.
I walked around in my flip flops for the duration of my stay as I did not want to put my...

This undoubtably has to be the worst Travel Lodge I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Note I have said visit as I walked out disgusted after only half an hour.
The room was the most dirtiest, filthiest I have ever encountered in the four years I have had to (not by my choice) stay in.
The walls were...

The location was really convenient but we were not impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. There is a distinctive smell in the bathroom from the dirty (white turned to brownish-colour) shower curtain which definitely needed changing! The bed is so hard; we could actually feel the springs! I know we get what we paid but there is not good...

Have previously stayed at this Travelodge a few years ago and a short notice trip to Cornwall meant we only booked this earlier in the week for £39.50. We arrived in a taxi from the railway station (it is walkable - approx 30 mins) and were checked in quickly. Even though we had specified in the booking there would be...

Very good place to stay, for dinners just pop over to Brewers Fayre which is just across the road.
The staff are really helpful, helped us a lot as we were two famllies with kids, they allowed us the usage of the microwave to heat baby food and milk. This was a great initiative they showed, and overall my stay...

Booked three nights at £39.50 per night and then read some really bad reviews on here. Filled with trepidation and expecting to have lots to complain about (fruitlessly according to reports on here!), we booked in and enjoyed our stay! You could be nit-picky about the mark on the wall (maybe a careless teenage foot?), a stain on a pillow...

Just off the A road and cheap. Near Brewer's Fayre and McDonald's. 10 minute drive from a lovely sandy beach.
But don't expect much more. Few in hotel facilities.
Carpets and mattresses could use a clean, but level of tidiness not unexpected at the price. Nothing "disgusting" about our room. Then again, did not sniff stains on the rug as...
