We have just returned from 4 nights in Cornwall staying at the beautiful Poltarrow Farm. we had bed & breakfast in the farmhouse and what breakfasts we had. Judith is a wonderful hostess and made everyone feel very welcome especially with tea and homemade toasted teacakes when we arrived. The facilities here are wonderful and so well done and the... We had the pleasure of spending two nights at Poltarrow Farm in St Austell while visiting the area to visit nearby Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The welcome we received was warm and genuine, we felt right at home and were treated to some tea and cake in the lounge which was greatly appreciated after a 5 hour... More

We have just returned from a week in Sika at Poltarrow and it was lovely yet again. This time it was just my husband and me and the weather wasn't great but we had a good time. The cottage is perfect, it has everything you need and it is very comfortable (and warm). Judith and her family look after everything... More

We stayed in Poltarrow farm for five nights. You can choose to stay in the farmhouse for bed & breakfast or in one of the self catering cottages. We had a room in the farmhouse. Our room shared with the other room in our part of the house, a cosy sitting room with a wood fire. We looked forward every... More

As a family of 5 we have stayed at Poltarrow in the The stag and Roebuck, both lovely, wonderfully well equipped cottages, fantastic facilities (pool & sports hall with pool table, table tennis, badminton, bowls)...so much so that our 17yr old will still come on holiday with us. We have been going to Poltarrow each year for the last 7... More

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys aged 17 and 14 have just returned from a lovely week staying in the Red Deer Cottage. After a long journey the welcome was very warm. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Absolutely everything seemed to have been thought of. Scones, jam, clotted cream, bread, sausage, bacon and... More

My wife and I stayed in Red Deer in September, with our 2 year old and 5 month old children. The cottage was stunning and well stocked with all the essentials, including complimentary eggs, bread, bacon, sausages and cream tea. The on site facilities are fantastic, the indoor swimming pool and tumble room ensured our son was always entertained. Poltarrow... More

We were lucky enough to book Roebuck cottage at the last minute for a holiday with our one year old and dog. The welcome pack of scones, bacon, sausages, eggs and bread was very welcome. We were left in peace after this, which suits us beautifully. The cottage was far cleaner than our home could ever hope to be! There... More

We have just completed a week's stay at four of the six cottages at Poltarrow. This was a family celebration and there were 16 of us aged from 3 to 80. The cottages are excellent: all of them are well appointed with every mod con and device you could possibly need. The eggs, bacon, bread and sausages left in each... More
