Stayed two nights at this venue. Stunning views of the English Channel. Very hospitable hosts who introduced us to a wonderful local artist . Convenient to St. Ives, Land's End, and Mousehole. Home has lovely art. Choose the larger of the two rooms which has many more amenities with negligible price difference. A Wolsey Lodge property

Experienced B&B users, our stay at Bay House rates as the best yet. We luxuriated in a deliciously warm, light and spacious room and a bed that was so comfortable it begged to be slept in for as long as possible. But the best bits of the holiday were the view from the vast bay window overlooking the sea, from... More

We stayed six nights in the Atlantic Room and enjoyed every minute of it. The room was spacious, light and comfortable and had personal touches that made us feel that we were staying with friends in their home. The attention to detail was to a high standard. And the views were superb. The only damp was the weather, but that... More

What a wonderful surprise to find Bay House at Wolsey Lodges; no better place to unwind, relax and have tea in the summer house. The house is tastefully decorated with lovely paintings. A magnificent scene night and day. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with old fashioned travel-trunks acting as bedside tables, and other interesting bits and pieces. A comfortable bed... More

Right, where do I start? The positives first: 1. Decent breakfast 2. Very good shower 3. Excellent views 4. If you're a walker, you have a particular dramatic part of the SW Coast Path on your doorstep. However, my wife developed a severe cough due to damp spores after spending one night and we left and went to Rock. The... More

The bay window in the room concerned has suffered from a damp patch after rain This has been an on-going problem and most guests have been understanding when it was explained to them. There was no damp in the sense of wet or dry rot, it was simply an occasional patch of rainwater that disappeared after a couple of dry... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in early August. On arrival and after showing us to our room (The Quarterdeck room) Carla invited us into the garden for tea accompanied by delicious scones with jam & cream. The view out to sea is spectacular. Our room was delightful with the same stunning view. The bed is extremely comfortable... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early July and chose Bay House for it's location and great reviews on trip advisor regarding the breakfasts, rooms and hospitality. When we arrived we were greeted by Carla and shown own room (Ocean Breeze) for which we had paid in advance in full at £130 per night and it was only at this... More

This lady does not seem to have found a single aspect of our B&B that met with her approval! Unfortunately she found our sixty odd overwhelmingly positive reviews on TripAdvisor to be 'misleading.' What could they all have been thinking? It is particulary disappointing when guests leave full of smiles and 'thank you's and then write something like this. Given... More
