My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for a few days and spend some time relaxing together. As I can often be quite the little “princess”, I wanted to try a more relaxing and ‘back to nature’ holiday without having to pitch my own tent or hunt and gather. After hearing about the resort from a friend and visiting... More

I have stayed at this place many times in the last decade and have always found these owners to be friendly and the camp ground fine. (although toilets could be done up and modernised). One thing that annoys me is the people posting bad reviews when they are the ones that have been rude and a pain to the other... More

We stayed there in January 4 adults 2 children....we had a fantastic time ...but I will say that our cabin was"nt clean ...but the linen was spotless ...I think your cleaners need to be a lot more thorough..we do realize that it was the busy time of the year...the cafe food was unreal and the music on the nites we... Thank you for your review – it really important to us to get honest feedback so that we can improve. However, I speak for all resort owners that it would be better at the time of your stay so that we can look at the issue together and I can speak to housekeeping and remedy any problems. We will always... More

Four dog loving family members with four dogs between us (3 toy dogs and a Labrador) had been searching for a place for an Easter beach holiday with the dogs and Ballina Beach Village was one of the few places we could find where the 4 dogs could be accommodated. We arrived with no expectations; the important thing was that... More

What a great review! Yes we love families and families with dogs are especially welcome. The rules are all sensible ones to ensure that everyone is comfortable and there are no issues. Thank you for writing about the beach and the nature reserve. These are important issues to us, and the preservation of our natural wilderness and bird life a... More

Wow what an amazing family environment. Close to the beach, acres of trees and park/bush. So many free activities for children- from visiting circus with tricks for kids to try to free craft and face painting . I love that the staff here understand families and that families are so well catered for here. Kids LOVE it!!!!!

My family stayed here 4 nights for the school holidays. Our pitch was good (powered tent) and the park is located in a good position. Although we were disappointed with the amenities. They need updating & repairing. With a park as big as this there should be more toilets/showers & cooking facilities. Definitely not enough, how does it cope when... More

Dear guests, please review our photos of camp kitchen and facilities. My apologies to these guests if they found anything below standard. The repairs to the toilet door was done the next day and we are always happy to re-clean or rectify anything that our attention is brought too. The cleaning schedule is twice per day midweek, and 3 times... More

We had to cut our camping holiday in Queensland short due to shocking weather, and were very excited to see Ballina Beach Village appear on our internet search. We booked a last minute break with our labrador pup, who had been somewhat miserable with constant rain & storms up north, and decided to go for a cabin - we were... More

This is a very lovely review. The guest in question was a 'special needs guest' with a companion animal who was very, very boisterous but harmless. This wasn't a big ask to support this guest in having a holiday and it was our pleasure to do so. Such is life. Thank you for your review. You were great guests to... More

Saturday night easy breezy entertainment and dining facilities if required at the timber-decked camping cafe. Toilet and washing facilites are clean and well maintained. Games, bikes etc for hire. This is a great review, as it gives me an opportunity to display pricing. The place, facilities, service, location and camp sites are all great. We were charged 140 dollars for 2 nights for me, my wife and my 13,12 and 8 year old kids which is a rip off for staying in a bloody tent. Charging certain aged children as adults is a taking the micky too. Shame on you. I could have... More
