Stayed at Arajilla Retreat some time ago and was quite impressed by the 5 star approach on what is a fairly relaxed ,laid back island. Firstly, Lord Howe Is is impressive beyond words . I hope to not let this out to to many people , but LHI is beyond all expectations . My wife and I enjoyed every aspect... More

My wife and I stayed at Arajilla for 4 nights in May 2012. The room was excellent as was the food and service. The staff (Janne, Chris, Abby and Rochelle) all tokk very good care of us. Nothing was too much trouble. It is a small intimate resort and we made many new friends whilst there. We have no hesitation... More

I stayed at Arajilla with a relative in February and had one of the most wonderful holidays of my life. How anybody could write a negative review is totally baffling - and I say that as a very widely travelled person that's stayed in a great deal of high-end accommodation. Lord Howe Island is a magical resort - absolutely not... More

Right from the welcome at Lord Howe Island airport, Arajilla Retreat proved to be a great place to base a Lord Howe Island holiday. Location (including the setting) is perfect/idyllic allowing walking to see many of the island's land and water attractions with a pleasant cycle ride to reach any other of the great walks/climbs on the island. The always... More

After reading a bad review on here I wondered if we'd made the right choice, but I needn't have worried. Never met such friendly, helpful & capable staff anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble, even dropping guests to the bowling club so they could watch the rugby. Their flexibility, good humour and attention to detail was amazing. The food was... More

Went to Lord Howe last week and stayed at Arajilla resort. We could not have bee happier with the service and the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful in every regard. Great trip and would recommend to anyone looking for a break and if you are into fishing take some solid gear. The kingfish can be quite big!

We rarely return to the same place twice - the world is too big and full of new, exciting places to visit. But Arajilla and Lord Howe Island changed our minds. So, one year after our first visit we headed over again for another 10 days in paradise! The island is stunning and offers so much from diving and snorkelling... More

Where to begin, the staff Chris, Abbey, Sheree and Rochelle were outstanding. They met and exceeded all our requirements.Food and accomodation was outstanding. If thinking about it, do it. Snorkelling was great, easy to access from beach. Riding the bikes was easy.
