The room was absolutely terrible. We were told it had in room heating, it didn't. It had heating blankets, they weren't plugged in and we had to search the room for a power point to plug them in ourselves. The house has peacocks, grand gardens and a truly grand heritage feel. We had a great wedding there with a huge fire and the manor has its own train station (albeit a tiny unused one) and grounds for kids to explore. As a local decided to try (with friends) the Sunday afternoon 'High Tea'. What a grand revellation right on our doorstep. Superbly catered silver service in a fantastic old world lounge room. Requires advance booking. Value plus excellent service. Can thoroughly recommend this venue.
