I travel all over NSW for my work. I was booked in by another party and was very happy with the room and the ended up staying two nights. The room service was fabulous..a mixed grill that was huge. Very happy and will stay again.

The name 'resort' conjures up images of, well, a resort. This is a basic motel - nothing more. Old rooms, but very comfortable beds, good a/c, but not clean. The carpet was not vacuumed, shower had hair from last visitors and even the ice cubes in the fridge had this strange red colour. Customer service from the reception was efficient... More

The name "Resort" is quite simply a lie. The motel is situated on a major road and I was subject to road noise throughout the night. To add to this, the adjoining restaurant was servicing a wedding. I heard thumping music until 1am! I complained to Reception. Their response was simply "it's a wedding. I can't tell a wedding to... More

As others have already mentioned here, this could hardly be called a Resort. The name "Resort" conjures up images of a well appointed up-market establishment that caters for holidaying familes and has a broad range of facilities and activities. This certainly isn't one of those resorts. So, when we were looking for a accommodation close to where a family event... More

I don't mind basic accomodation but only when I expect it to be.I booked this hotel expecting a lot more as resorts normally do.Mouldy black tennis courts, pool gazebo & gardens we're ok but had no seating anywhere. When I called the hotel & asked how far the beach was they said across the road behind the reserve, this sounded ok except the... There should be rules as to what circumstances property owners can legally call their property a "resort". Because in the case of Shellharbour Resort, apparently a few palm trees around a pool is enough to qualify. The rooms here are just basic motel rooms. Beds were OK, furnushings were just basic pine chipboard flatpack stuff, but adequate. The bathroom was... More

My older relatives stayed here as it was close to us but we had no space. Reception was rude, their check was lost after 2 weeks of being sent. Receptionist wouldnt give them a receipt after cash payment because ' she was busy' and the cleaners left the room door open all day whilst they were out. A disappointing stay... More

I stayed here for business for 1 night...Resort is a gross exaggeration...it is on a major very busy road, with the pool and tennis court right next to the road. The lady at reception was very slow to atten to us when we arrived (finish that call before you look us in the eye!) and the rooms were very old... More
