I stayed at The Parsonage last night, sharing a room with my sister. So, not exactly the romantic getaway! Maureen was very welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to invite another family member to join us for breakfast. Because we were visiting family, we didn't spend time enjoying the common areas but they looked very nice.

My husband and I wanted a B & B close to Jack Frost Mountain, but did not want to stay right there. We wanted more for our weekend than what the mountain could offer. We wanted the quaintness of Jim Thorpe. Thus we came across The Parsonage for our lodging. What a perfect location. Walkable to the railroad, shops, and... More

The innkeeper was very nice and really personable once you got to chatting. The home was lovely, decorated with some antiques and some newer pieces as well, and clean and neat as a pin. We stayed in the Molly McGuire room which was quiet and cozy for 2 with a comfy bed and awesome feather comforter. Though it had no... More

All the great reviews are well deserved. My wife and I spent two nights in the "Molly Maguire" room at the Parsonage B&B in Jim Thorpe and our stay couldn't have been better. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfasts were simply wonderful. On top of the great location, beautiful, comfortable room and great... More

The location is convenient to all of the Jim Thorpe sights but is in a peaceful location a block beyond the hustle and bustle. Many lovely places to sit -- chairs in the yard, balcony, screened gazebo, living room, with games and books. Delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit, baked goods, entree (fancy french toast, eggs). Many nice extra touches --... More

The Parsonage is a beautiful bed and breakfast! Maureen was very accomodating and prepared a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed the port wine in the gazebo at night! We were there during a heat wave and the A/C was perfect. Within walking distance to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. Woukd recommend the Parsonage to all!

Breakfast is wonderful but there's more! The Parsonage has charm and comfort: little garden settin' spaces in the yard or on the balcony; coffee and tea near your room should you want it earlier or later than breakfast; a beautiful sitting room; and a very short walk to nice dinner places and shops as well as the train and the... On our way to a surgical follow up in NYC, we stayed here on our trip. Maureen, the host, was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure I was extra cozy and my needs were met as I was still recovering from surgery. Wonderful breakfasts and very cozy b&b. Thank you Maureen!

My partner and I spent two nights at The Parsonage in the downstairs room. Maureen is pleasant and knowledgable about activities and attractions in town. Her morning update was very helpful and she provided us with a map and suggestions for our morning hike. Breakfast was very good both mornings with good strong coffee. The room had a private bath... My girlfriend and I stayed here two nights on a dreary weekend at the beginning of March 2011. We were in the area visiting my girlfriend's friend. The place is absolutely wonderful. It is VERY quiet and peaceful inside. We stayed in the Lehigh room. It has a very comfortable king-sized bed and private bath. High-end soaps and shampoos are... More
