The hotel is old and is desperately in need of a update!!!!! The staff are not on the same page. They all have different stories of what's open and for what hours. It was hard to plan anything and Which led to disappointing my kids.

Tremendously disappointing stay. I was at a conference and hoping for a few quiet days of retreat. Instead, all I wanted was to retreat from my room. Room was dingy and outdated..dusty surfaces...stained curtains...hairs repeatedly on the bed and in the bathroom- especially after it was "cleaned". Awakened at 10:30 PM one night to be offered a new dinner menu... More

I was here for a 2 day meeting. The front desk would not take my Carlson Club number. That made me feel special as a Carslon Club member...not. I was on the 3rd floor across from the elevator with a locked balcony door "for my safety" with a view of an ugly rooftop. The room was spacious and the sleep... More

Arrived last week to be told, at 5.30 pm, that rooms were not ready. No apology, very rude front desk staff and frankly miserable. Not a great start. Headed to the bar where we we greeted much more warmly and our waitress was lovely and very friendly. Meanwhile other guests were now able to check in. The miserable receptionists couldn't... More

Have stayed in this hotel twice now on business. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable but overall the place and rooms are a bit dated. Saying that, it has recently opened up a new section with a casino etc and added many restaurants. Both that I tried, the tavern and pacific prime were excellent but a bit pricey. Location... More

I had to travel in for work recently and decided to bring the family on a mini-vacation. It was beyond a mini-vacation! Food in the restaurant was excellant, bartendar was so friendly I would go back just to have a beer with him! The beds were comfortable, checkin was easy, I wouldn't go any where else when traveling back to... More

I stayed here one night on business. It's a strange place - with a new casino attached. I've never had to PAY to get in a casino, which is required, unless you are a guest of the hotel or make a purchase in a restaurant. There was a balcony, though the door was locked, and the view was really nasty... More

We had a large shopping trip and stayed at this hotel. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very nice, except our heat wasn't working ( ended up being batteries dead in unit). Because of our large group, they gave us all complimentary breakfast, which was excellent (fresh made-to-order omelets, waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal, etc). We aslo... More

"Renovated" to this hotel means new linens and beds, and some new faucets. This is by no means a "brand new, just opened in 2012" hotel as their website indicates. Swtiched my room FOUR times: 1) First room was NOT renovated in 2012, more like 1992. And the tub stopper didn't work, and it looked like someone had layed on... More

We booked this through Priceline and were told our reservation was with the Scanticon. We have been here many times before but on arrival found that the old Scanticon is now a Casino Hotel so we checked with the Radisson and turned out our reservation was with them, very confusing. Parking lot has been changed and there are very few... More
