The beds and bathrooms are very clean. There was a drink bottle and a few cheerios under 1 bed. I suspect the vacuum was one that requires moving the bed. Small operations and very simple, but very well run. It was conveniently located for the Lancaster Covered Bridge Metric bike ride, which is why I was there. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and gracious. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Lancaster.

The Garden Spot is a family-owned establishment. We stayed there in 2009 (our first year traveling to Lancaster). Its a nice, basic room, very clean. The A/C had some climate control issues, but we were able to deal with it. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We'd arrived early and they hurried to clean and prepare our room for us.... More
