We attempted to book a room with 2 queen beds, meadow view, however none were available, so we booked a a room with 2 standard beds instead. My husband is 6'5", so we were a little concerned about the standard size bed, but pleasantly surprised to learn that the beds are longer than average size. The beds were very comfortable,... More

The Inn is very clean and very well kept up in general. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated in the country theme. My wife and I and in-laws love staying here and have done so for the last few years. It's also nice having Christian books for guests to read on hand in the hallways. The hosts are... More

Perfectly adequate room, nicely furnished, wooden furniture, part of the Amish environment. Friendly reception. It was a cold night and blankets were not sufficient to stay warm. Not a fan of turning the heat up during the night, it became pretty uncomfortable. Better quality blankets might be a good investment. But the people were very friendly and all in all,... More

We had been dying to visit Lancaster for years. We stayed at this place since my in-laws recommended it. It was WONDERFUL! We met great people who were also staying there. We loved sitting on the porch in the glider rocking chairs and chatting with the other visiting folks. We stayed in the romantic suite that had a Jacuzzi tub... More

The Country Living Inn in Lancaster, PA is a lovely little place to stay. The decor is very warm and inviting and I slept like a log too! This is unusual for me when staying at a new place for the first time. That is how welcoming and warm this place is. Staff is very cordial and courteous, room temperatures... More

We have stayed at this small inn for many, many years. In fact, we stayed there before the current owners took possession. It is locally owned and the owners are very, very nice. This is one of the cleanest inns/hotels that I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many. Even though the furniture remains the same from... More

My husband and I felt lost without a port in the storm after a very negative experience with another room we had booked. It was a welcomed relief to find this place. We were just driving around desperate and my husband saw the people sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs looking very comfortable and happy. We were very... More

Pluses: Great location for Amish village attractions. The facility is clean as others have noted. They serve muffins, coffee and hot chocolate. They do have quilts on the beds, and good decor. Minuses: There is no one from the management on the property after 8 in the night. The owners stay on five minutes drive (we were told) In the... More

Stayed here for the weekend with my Mom and Aunt and we loved it. The place is super clean and the view of the farm across the street was really nice. I left my pregnancy pillow behind and they were kind enough to ship it out to me immediately and followed up with a call to see if I received... More
