The facility was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. They provided water and snacks at checkin. The breakfast area was clean and offered a nice variety. There was a coffee/ tea hot chocolate bar 24 hrs. It was a great hotel and I highly recommend it

Hotel's Favourite
I found the hotel to be great. I was greeted by two females, when I arrived. They were so pleasant and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure our night was special. I do not remember one of them, she did wear funky green glasses and the other associate was Aubrey. When I checked, I was asked how was my stay. They remembered me, when I checked out. I recommend the place.

I am having a hard time expressing just how great we think this place is. We had an absolutely dreadful experience with another hotel very close by which was so bad we moved out after one night of a four night stay. We showed up unannounced at the desk of this hotel and asked for a room and they bent over backwards to do whatever they could to accommodate us. It was truly amazing. We are forever in their debt. We will always consider booking a hotel of this brand first if available at our destinations. This hotel is fresh and clean and as beautiful as a well tended Japanese garden in our eyes. The staff are all courteous, respectful and attentive. We came to town for a special family occasion and their actions rescued our visit. We can't possibly thank them enough.

Very nice hotel. Location is perfect for Sesame Place or the mall for Andy's Brick Shop. Parking fills up fast but seemed to be enough when the hotel is full. Pool looked nice. Breakfast was not great- Pancake maker didn't work and not much to choose from. Staff were friendly.

Stayed here with family when visiting Sesame Place. Rented 2 rooms. Room#1: plug didn’t work in bathroom sink area. Was given an extension cord that didn’t reach from the nearest plug. Fridge froze all of the food we bought and when I tried to defrost something, the microwave didn’t work either. The cabinet door covering the fridge wouldn’t close so I kept bumping into it. Room#2: same problem with fridge which froze everything in it, even on the lowest setting. Upon arrival, found a pair of shorts and a fruit cup next to the bed which leads me to believe that the room was not cleaned properly before it was given to us. Front desk staff did not appear overly concerned about these issues. Overall, would not stay here again. Wasn’t expecting the Ritz but these minor inconveniences all added up, not to mention the money we spent on food which had to be thrown away.

Don't go with high expectations Just returned from a visit and this was the base hotel for family wedding. First off the facility did not recognize the group rate which was 75$ cheaper than booking rate. Arrived and after 35 min check in it was straightened out. Get in room the shower does not empty out from drain. Standing water🤢go to turn on TV and only pick up satellite stations, most are info-mercials 😔and and of course Buzzr TV. Called the next day twice only thing they did was check the TV and drop a channel listing card. NONE of the channels we pick up. The fridge in room turned all the food to ice. Only redeemed quality was the Dove products and continued hot coffee downstairs. If you travel with kids breakfast is meh ok. It's down the st from Sesame Place right off highway. Location is prime...but there's a Sheraton and Springhill Suites literally 2 blocks away. Staff is ok new management so training maybe a factor

We stayed here for 3 days, we are put on the first floor, moved our stuff, and got situated. We went about our day, when we returned we were told we would have to move our room because carpeting was being installed early on a Sunday morning. This was not communicated and could have been handled in a better way. Ok so we moved our room to the 4th floor, this night the AC did not work and the room was very, very hot. We were tired and did not want to move again. The next day our final night we moved again. This time the coffee maker did not work properly and also the tv was malfunctioning, also the kids wanted to take a shower but the drain could not be closed and the diverter was stuck on the shower setting, I was able to unjam it after about 5 minutes of trying. A pretty poor experience. I choose this brand because of past good experiences. The staff was helpful and they were friendly. When you pay over $125 a night for a room you would expect everything to work properly. I went to the desk staff and explained these things with not much help. Overall our experience with this location was a 2 out of 5. If you are going to visit Sesame Place which is only a 1/4 mile away you may want to make sure everything is working in this location. The cleaning services were great, the food services were also very good. The amenities and extras need some upgrading and fixing.

The check in was painfully slow, because the manager didn't like my company credit card. Room was ok but the bathroom was very small just like the bath towels. On the second day when we got down stairs for breakfast at 6:40am we found that there was no regular coffee ( 2 empty pots), and all the hot food was already gone! Really they had been only open for breakfast for 10 minutes and no more food. They have a little store for snacks, but bring your check book because everything is way over priced. I haven't stayed at a holiday inn in a while, and now I remember why. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere!

Ugh. We are frequent travelers, and I've stayed in dozens of hotels with my family and 5 kids. This hotel was one of the worst. There were HUNDREDS of ants, both dead and alive, in all corners of the room. The pool was cloudy and disgusting. Overall, the front desk staff seemed nice, and this hotel could really be something great if it was clean. I love that it's only 2 minutes away from Sesame Place, but I will be staying somewhere else next time.
