We began our trip because we love Mount Gretna and love to camp. We arrived and were greeted and taken to our cabin. The cabin was fair. Maybe the floor was swept but, still dirty… We stayed in bunks with egg crate mattresses covered in plastic. The bathrooms are cleaned once a day but had filthy wet floors throughout the... More

The campground was nice enough, clean enough and looked ok on the surface. But the constant gunfire from the neighboring gun club was going on till past 9 at night. When we pulled in, there was no place to pull over, no instructions how to get out of the way while one of us went in to get registered, so... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay. We were in the 300 section and had a pull thru site. I liked this area of sites as they were spacious and level, and, for the most part fairly quiet. The campground had planned activities, bathrooms facilities were clean and well maintained. The gameroom was dated and not much in there. The... More

Just returned from 4 nights of camping there with our friends' pop-up camper. Took FOREVER to level. They really need to do a better job of leveling those sites. Bathrooms/showers were very clean. We knew about the campground being very close to the PA Turnpike. Fortunately our site was on the other side of the campground, but I felt sorry... More

I recently stayed at the campgrounds for a family reunion. We were all very excited to go camping as a family, but one step into our cabin and I was doomed. I'm allergic to almost everything in the environment including mold. The cabin had a damp musty smell, and even though the foam mats had plastic covers, after one night... More

I had no real issue with the amenities but with the staff/residents. From the beginning, the senior staff was very cold to our family of 4. The young girls working at the register were nice, but any employee over the age of 50 was very gruff and short with us. We were constantly reminded that there were "full time" residents... More

I took my family of 4 on a cross country adventure and this was our first stop and I regret it completely. The site I was given was on a horrible slope that took forever to level. The staff took our money and treated us with a hostile and gruff demeanor during our stay and all the amenities listed our... More

This is a small campground, clean restrooms, friendly staff, but those are the highlights of the weekend. There is little to keep tweens & up interested - game room small and not a lot of games working, kids craft was very very toddler oriented, playground also for the under 6 crowd. This campground is near the PA turnpike on one... More

Sandwiched between the turnpike and the rifle range, don't expect much rest! The desk staff seemed overwhelmed and the security, overbearing. We were greeted by a cigar smoking security guard who manned the gate like we were entering a high security military base, an impression only furthered by the gunfire and heavy truck traffic. However, if you have to camp... More

The campground sits between the Turnpike and a shooting range. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place. Cabin renters partied loudly until dawn. If the rates were $15 per night I'd say "maybe" but at $40 per night I say "skip it"!
