We stayed at the Orris House Inn en route to Washington last weekend. We found it by virtue of its consistently high tripadvisor reviews. My wife and I were travelling with my brother-in-law so we reserved the Yellow suite, which gave us two rooms at a very reasonable price, and a terrific breakfast. Great ambiance -- everything is done thoughtfully... More

We stayed here over thanksgiving with our 1 year old. The owner Kevin was really accommodating amd cooked us a great breakfast. We stayed in the maids quarters. It has three rooms...plenty of rooms for kids or a pack n play. Bath was spacious. We have only stayed at a couple B and B and this was a lovely experience.... More

I have just got back from my sixth or seventh stay with charming innkeeper Kevin Jackson at the splendid inn. It is like staying in a historic house but with all mod cons. Very comfortable in a pretty little town, a slice of Americana, and well located for local attractions, including Gettysburg. Mr Jackson is a great host, ready with... More

Held a formal event--gourmet level. The owner helped make sure everything went off without a hitch, thought of nice extra touches. It was exsquisite & fabulous--guests loved it. Some stayed over night and raved about the accommodations. If you love beautiful & historic, you'll love this place.

Orris House Inn was extremely wonderful. Exactly what we were promised for our wedding was exactly what we got. The atomosphere and accomidations were excellent - Kevin and his team went above and beyond for us. We did not have to worry about anything as the staff was very attentive and helpful. They had several options of set up for... More

My husband and I attended Parents Weekend at Dickinson College for our daughter who is a freshman. It was our first stay in the area and also our first experience at a B&B. The weekend was lovely and was topped off by the clean and beautifully decorated Orris House. Our visit was relaxing and felt like a step back in... More

My wife and I got married at the Orris House Inn in September of 2011. Everyone who attended our wedding fell in love with the place. We were so taken with the OHI and the Inn Keeper, Kevin that we returned this September to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. The house itself is gorgeous and filled with character and charm.... More

Beautiful old house right in the middle of Mechanicsburg. Rooms are great, very comfortable beds, and Kevin, the proprietor, was kind, helpful and makes killer scones!! If you're in the area and need a nice place to stay, I'd choose the Orris House over a hotel every day of the week!!!

My wife and I recently had a June wedding at the Orris Hous Inn. The price was reasonable and the service great. Kevin, who runs the Inn, was easy to work with and provided servers for our wedding. We had the first floor to the Inn and the back yard, which sat up to 70 people and was the high... More
