The place was really retro like we were back in the 50's. The room was bigger than we thought and nice and clean. Although the place was close to the road we heard no road noise. If you want to step back in time stay here. Lots of good eats in the area.

I have been staying at the motel in all of its incarnations for the past thirty three years. It is a wonderfully quiet and relaxing place. The staff was lovely, the bar was quaint but the room has close to zero amenities. WIFI did not work and the tv was spotty. The room was very dark and the first impression was awful because the heater was off so it was an ice box. Would have been nice if the heater had been turned on an hour... More
