My wife and I stayed here after suffering a tire failure on I-90 at 11:30 pm. I'd stayed here once about 35 years ago and it wasn't great then, so I was apprehensive, but we were tired and desperate. The manager gave us the discount coupon rate and a king size bed, which we appreciated after the day we'd had.... More

My family stayed for one night and it was the worst experience of our lives. We ended up with rashes caused by bedbugs or some other insects. The bedsheets didnt even look washed. The room was so small it had just enough room for a twin bed. The breakfast is a joke and is only coffee and old bananas. We... More

A friend and I were attending a dog show in Erie for the weekend. Rooms in hotels listed were inflated due to Celebrate Erie event and summer season, so I found the Super 8 North East about 13 miles away at a about half the price but we would have to share a double bed. I made the reservation online... More

This was the only hotel with any rooms for miles around and it was obvious why. It seemed like one of those places that rent more rooms by the hour than overnight. The only reason we did end up staying was that we were exhausted from driving and still had hours upon hours to go on our trip. The rate... More

The room looks like it hasn't been renovated since before the war. The carpets are filthy, the shower curtain is full of mold. The air conditioner is up on the wall and when it comes on it sounds like a freight train going through the room. The stay is cheap but the old saying is true........you get what you pay... More

This place is really bad. Checked in without checking reviews (a big mistake but I was exhausted) and at first glance the room (#34) was very dusty, and kind of scuzzy, but I thought "how bad can it be for one night?" Answer - very bad. At 11:00 PM I was watching TV in bed and glanced over at the... More

I stayed here for 2 nights over the July 4th holiday 2011; rates were around $75/night. The bed was ok, had no problems with it. A/C was functional, and did provide some white noise to block out any highway or other noise. Wi-Fi worked fine. There was a bit of dirt and bugs in the bathroom; maintenance isn't very good,... Pay the extra $20 and stay anywhere else. Emailed Super Eight about the filthy room that smelled like Urine and the bugs nest in bathroom. Dirty used filter in coffee pot. It was awful so awful in fact we tried to find another motel after we checked but the Holiday Inn express was full. Super Eight never even replied back... More

Other reviews say what I would say. Dirty, Dingy, Very Small, just terrible. Even at discounted rate of about $49, it is not worth $10 to stay here. Please believe this and the other reviews! This hotel does not come close to meeting the Super 8 standards and I do not know how they get away with the way this... More

Stay home, or pitch a tent. Anything would be better than this location. Rugs were disgusting. Dust everywhere. Fuzzballs on walls - something I've never seen in my life. Bathroom was so incredibly dirty - you didn't dare use the shower. The tub was cracked, the walls were filthy, the sink - well you had to at least wash your... More
