Booked this place when I decided to visit Gettysburg. This is about 20 minutes out of center of Gettysburg, so you will need to drive back and forth if you are visiting Gettysburg. Checked in Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at the cottages we had. Tucked away behind the main property about 1/4 mile away. The room is very nicely appointed with everything you need for a cozy weekend. No TV, only movies you can borrow at the main building. This is not a problem for us, as we never watch TV on get-away weekends. Bathroom was great, a shower and a large two person Jacuzzi, with plenty of space. Good full towels, and very clean. The room has a gas fire place which is great on a chilly day, and nice to watch as you read a book or just relax. Comfy bed and linens, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board everything you need. Breakfast is served in the main farm house, and it is a full breakfast, yogurts, breads, cereals, eggs, and bacon. Sunday breakfast is delivered to you cottage in a wicker basket, very old fashion loved it. OJ, coffee for the coffee maker, muffins, fruits and sticky buns. This place welcomes you with open arms. They also have a huge hall for dining, country style food and served home style. We recommend this place if you are vesting Gettysburg, but want to be away from the crowds. The staff is fantastic and very polite and welcoming. Make sure to carve your name on the many trees surround the cottages. They also have rooms at the main farm house, but we much rather the cottages with the front porch and rocking chairs.…
