Stayed here Friday and Saturday nights of the Pitt/Rutgers game this year over Thanksgiving. Very reasonable price and highly convenient. We were in Pittsburgh for a concert and we chose the Residence Inn because they had two bedroom suites available. The hotel was great. Okay, it's a Marriott property so you know it's going to be good, but there's more. The convenience to PNC Park is unbelievable. If you trip out the front door, you'll land in PNC Park. This is a fairly new Residence Inn. It is located near the football and baseball stadium (across street). You can easily walk to downtown Pittsburgh to explore via the bridges. The room was very nice. Small kitchen, sitting area and bedroom. Very clean.

Had seven people in two suites for the NCAA Ice Hockey Championships. We were able to check in early - which was great since we wanted to have something to eat and get to the games.
