The hosts are genuinely interested. Checked for food needs. Even offered to figure out how to shuttle our car for kayaking on the river, which is beyond the call of duty. This b n b, in a beautiful setting, is made even more interesting by its history. It was once home to bandleader Fred Waring and photos of his many famous guests are displayed in the inn. The house is wonderful! the grounds are beautiful! Gordan and Cindy are wonderful hosts. They spent time with us talking about the home and surrounding area. They suggested many wonderful things for us to do in the surrounding area. The breakfast was superb!!

The grounds were gorgeous and our loft room was secluded, clean and full of interesting architecture. Cindy the host was friendly and open. I would llike to return in teh spring of summer to enjoy the grounds more.

The history in this area is just amazing and The Gatehouse is the topping on the cake...beautifully decorated and so peaceful...very conveniant to everything and Cindy is very knowledgeable about everything in the area...the rooms are charming and the breakfast delicious...we really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return, perhaps in another season.

The couple that take care of all are supper attentive. Breakfast was delicious and awsome. The entire house, living rooms, kitchens, dens and all were pleasantly decorated and clean.
