I stayed here at the Ramada when I was visiting Penn State in April. The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and comfortable and a very fair rate. I stayed in an exterior entrance room which I enjoyed because it was more private and you could park right out front of your room and wouldn't... More

I recently stayed here on 4/21 for a Penn State football game. The room was very nice and clean. However, the bathroom was really small. But, the micro/fridge combo made up for that. The thermostat was responsive to temperature adjustments, and there were enough outlets near the bed for my laptop, phone, etc. The beds were really comfortable with fluffy... More

Stayed while visiting Penn State. Convenient location. Indoor pool very nice. Reasonable price, clean room with updated bathroom. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast was an added plus. Would not hesitate to stay again. Overall good value.

I was there for a youth science conference. The breakfast was free and really good, the pool and hot tub were nice and the atrium area was a great meeting area although very noisy and a bit dark. I had a bizarre room where there was a window with a shade, and it was a flourescent light behind it. There... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay during your Science Conference. I am delighted that you enjoyed the free breakfast and found our staff to be accommodating. The hotel does have several different room types, and the section you stayed in was converted from exterior entrance rooms to interior rooms, which due to firecodes did not allow us... More

This is definitely a first. I am in a suite and there are no windows, not in the living room, not in either bathroom and not in the bedroom, is that even legal? Other than that everything is fine, but seriously what architect dreamed up this nightmare? bizarre.

I am sorry that our suite did not meet your expectations during your recent stay with us. While it may seem odd, the reason that we do not have windows in that room is that when we added our conference center, there were firecodes that prevented us from putting windows in those rooms. I hope that the room we moved... More

The hotel is a cross between an old hotel and one that has recently been remodeled. It has an old feel and can be little musty because they need to upgrade their carpets but overall, it's very comfortable. At first I was a little concerned because it's a little old, but when I got into my room it felt a... More

Thank you for your kind remarks regarding your stay at our hotel. I appreciate you taking note of all of the recent improvements that we have made at the facility including the recent guest room upgrades. We have also been upgrading our carpeting in 88 percent of the guest rooms, but still have about 25 rooms to complete. Thanks again... More

We stayed here for THON weekend. Our room was by the pool and we could not get the temperature of our room below 73 degrees. This was very uncomfortable. There is a restaurant onsite but it's just ok. We are use to staying at more updated hotels in State College with free breakfast and coffee. I got this through Hotwire... More

I am sorry that you had an issue with the air conditioning in your guest room. There are certain times of the year when the temp. outside gets too cool for us to turn on our air conditioning, and I can only summize that this was the case. We have invested over $11 million dollars in the hotel over the... More

The hotel has a great service staff and good rooms. They aren't state of the art but you are getting well worth their average 89.00 room rate. The pool side rooms do have a chlorine smell, but then again its by a pool! obviously it will smell like a pool in that area! The front desk staff is very nice... More
