Overall, we had a nice stay at the Inn. Our room was tiny, but fine for what we needed. The porch was very nice and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and wine in the afternoon. Diana was incredibly helpful and a pleasure. However, there isn't an owner or manager who stays on site, and we had a pretty bad... More

Hello, Thank you for your review of your stay at the Inn at Block Island. It is unfortunate that sometimes guests staying on Block Island celebrate too much and become noisy. We appreciate your feedback so that we can take the necessary steps to prevent this from happening in the future. Our concern is that you waited eight months to... More

This area is absolutely amazing. It is a must see area. The people are friendly the scenery is beautiful and the food anywhere on the island is amazing. I recommend anyone the likes the northern Atlantic and fall folliage to definitely check it out

I had researched several rooms on the island before picking the Inn. First, the rates for all rooms run in the same range; I was surprised that they were as high as they were, that may have something to do with making up revenue for the off-season. Anyway, it was for an anniversary trip so willing to splurge. We stayed... More

The only thing promised that was fulfilled was that there wouldn't be anyone to greet us when we arrived at 5 pm. The rooms are horrible....showers are dirty wall paper is peeling exposing the mold behind it, the linens are not only stained, but also dirty! I am not embellishing......I did start crying! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Beware of what you read! Sometimes people write things just to hurt business. This person had a group of people and rented three rooms. They checked in, enjoyed the free wine and cheese, used the room for one night, ate breakfast and then proceeded to bully us with threats on voicemail to damage our business if we did not give... This is a B&B where you just get to "be". I am not a big fan of the places where you have to have a conversation with the innkeeper at breakfast, or any other time for that matter. Diane is the innkeeper and she is there but not always, I was able to reach the owner by phone no problem.... More

We live in the State of Georgia, and for years we had been urged by family in Connecticut to visit Block Island. During July 2012, took our two children (son aged 11, daughter aged 8) and in-laws (in their 70s), and we all felt ourselves very fortunate to have booked at The Inn on Block Island. The Inn is full... More

There was so little personalization at this B&B, we should have just stayed at a hotel!! When we arrived, we found a general sign on the front door informing us to find our own room, the Buttercup. The door was unlocked and the keys were inside. A few hours after we arrived, we realized our toilet was not working properly.... More

Just got back from the block island inn and couldn't say enough about our stay. Nice rooms great location(could walk to anywhere and we did on the island) and helpful staff would definitely go back. Block Island is a fun quent island not overly pretentious but has enough to offer to make everyone feel welcome.

My husband and our 2 sons, as well as other family members stayed at this Inn at Block Island, for a family wedding. After an early start and a rather long day of traveling we were greeted by Diana, the Inn Manager, who quickly accommodated us by getting us into our room instantly. This was a first time visit to... We enjoyed our stay in the Doll House Cottage. However, we were truly taken aback by the lack of any presence of staff, management, etc. We saw the innkeeper (?) who was very pleasant at breakfast and that was it and a maintence/handyman (?) once or twice working on projects. Thankfully we had our phones with internet and some info... More
