My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were one of two couples in the entire place, which we actually enjoyed. (We had the 3rd floor to ourselves, so coming and going at any hour was fine.) Pros: -ornate, lovely place with a stunning and comfortable breakfast room -delicious and plentiful breakfast made to order -we... More

We enjoyed our stay at the b and b - a lovely Victorian home - but the bathroom was really tiny and the air was very close- humid and difficult to sleep. When we finally managed to pry open a window- there were sirens and loud traffic noises all night along with a bright street light shining in our eyes.... More

I booked Edgewood Manor as a surprise for my daughter's honeymoon on March 7, 2012. My husband and I toured the estate and were very impressed with the unique array of fine antiques and architectural splendor of this beautifully preserved mansion. Each room/suite is uniquely appointed with gorgeous period furniture, and some have amazingly large 2 person jacuzzi's. We are... More

I stayed at this B&B recently with my bf, and we loved stepping back into time as we wandered its halls. There were so many antiques and pieces with stories, and our room (Renaissance) was extremely comfortable. The next morning, we had a leisurely breakfast freshly made by the (awesome) chef while chatting with another couple at the long dining... More

My girlfriend and I were recent guests at the Edgewood Manor B & B. We had a great stay there. We arrived much earlier than we planned, by accident, and Andy had no problem taking care of us. In fact, his service and attitude was that of a friend instead of an innkeeper. We stayed in the main house and... More

We've stayed at the Edgewood Manor a few times but this time, we stayed next door at the Newhall House. Andy (the owner) was super nice and greeted us like we were old friends. Andy met us in Edgewood Manor and walked us over to Newhall House. We stayed in the Elms Suite. When I opened the door to the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently, and when we got there the whole place was locked up, and we stood outside for a good ten mintues but it's the middle of January, it's cold! I've heard several reviews about how you need to be there on time, and we were. After we waited we called the owner and asked... More

The decor is amazing, antique and romantic. Breakfast was wonderful and the host charming. I would visit in any season but the beautiful Christmas decorations and comfortable formality of the Manor made it especially wonderful at the holiday season. One night's stay felt like a mini-vacation. We are definitely going back!

One of the highlights of our recent weekend in Providence was our stay at Edgewood Manor. It is located 10 min. from Providence, near a bay and a short walk to Roger Williams Park. It is situated on a wide block with many beautiful homes, some dating back over 100 years (do take a stroll down the street). The inn,... More

I stayed in a suite with my daughter and her husband for only one night. Couldn't wait to leave in the morning! There were spiders in one bedroom and the place gave me a very uneasy feeling. Having just come from a three night stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Maine, I was very disappointed with the accommodations... More
