If you come to Charleston for historic charm this hotel is faux southern colonial with typical hotel charm. It has been remodeled and is clean with a very helpful staff. “Great location”

Great location for playing tourist in historical Charleston, everything you'll want to see is within walking distance. The room was on the small side but very clean. Reasonable rates, especially for a last minute booking. Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend to a friend.

Wonderful experience! Was the first road trip for my girlfriend. This hotel has prime location, free parking, friendly staff and wonderfully beautiful and clean rooms. I checked tripadvisor for a hotel in the Charleston historic district. There were many good reviews about Best Western King Charles Inn. My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel. We were quite disappointed. The nice updated bathroom was too large compared to the room. The hotel is weird; the entrance to the elevators were outside the building.... More
