This is our half way point to DC for my son and I. We found the hotel to be clean, safe and comfortable. with the exception of the "boxed eggs" breakfast was good. I also spent some time in the gym and was satisfied with the equipment provided as with all my reviews this is based on comparable hotels.

Great hotel. Never had a problem with hilton garden inns. Price seemed inflated due to the civic center being booked and having a whole bunch of out-of-towners. Beds were awesome, rooms were really clean, and breakfast was cheap and delicious. If I have to stay in a hotel again in Florence, I will make sure its this hotel.

Yes, I usually stay in cheaper hotels. However, this was comparable to the Confort Inn & Suites, and MUCH better. For one thing, it was very quiet. The machines in the fitness center actually worked! I will search for a Hilton Garden Inn first, then decide where to spend the night when I travel. The room is so quiet and comfortable. I always get a good night's sleep and enjoy the room service for dinner and a good breakfast in the morning in the lobby.

The staff at the HGI in Florence, from the waitresses and the bartender, to the housekeeping and desk staff were welcoming and helpful to the extreme. They were a well managed and thoughtful staff. For example, we left a set of hearing aids in the room and housekeeping FEDEX'd them to us a few days later.
