He stayed at this property many times and did again this weekend. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fine and tipical of a Residence Inn however could use some updating. Very convenient to the beach and 10 miles or so to downtown charleston so good option if both are in your plans.

Perfect location if you want to be able to drive a short distance to the beach and downtown Charleston. Mount Pleasant is a nice little suburb next to Charleston. Very friendly, helpful front desk. Room was nice size and worked for traveling with 20ish daughter who slept on couch. This was our second visit to this property. Downtown is a quick and easy drive, it is close to other area attractions. There are supermarkets, shopping and plenty of restaurants near by. If you are traveling late fall do not miss the Festival of Lights (about 20 min drive). The breakfast is great we haven't tried the evening managers reception...... More

The room was nice. The place looks good from the outside. On a Saturday evening, we went downstairs to the lobby to get a hot chocolate. I stayed here three nights last week for leisure. The room was clean, but the bed (in room 2013) was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. Great location—just off Route 17 and adjacent to a Bi-Lo grocery store—convenient if you want to cook in the room or just stock up on beer and snacks. I really appreciate this hotel brand.... More
