Prior to commenting here, I have read several of the other reviews, some of which were not very favourable. Personally, my husband and I had no problems with service, either at the front desk or with breakfast or any other requests. Yes, it is true that the hotel may require some updating, however, our room was comfortable and clean at all... More

I stayed at this hotel last weekend. The staff there is the friendliest and will go out of their way to meet your needs. I also enjoyed their free breakfast. Their was alot of food to choose from. This hotel is also in a place where it was alot quieter than other hotels I've stayed in at the beach. The... More

I booked 2 rooms here this past month and when I had to go in and change the reservations for one of the rooms the staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. They told me they couldn't modify the reservation and I'd have to speak with someone at the 1-800 number. I called the 1-800 number and they told me to... More

I took a group to the Northwood Hampton Inn for the weekend of May 4-6, 2012. The group had been on the road since 6:30 a.m. The reservations had been in place for some time. Our air conditioning went out on the bus. The hotel knew we were coming. However, when I called from the road stating that we would... More

Mr. Dale, I'm sorry you feel that you had a bad experience at our hotel, however when you called at 1:00pm on Friday, May 4th to indicate you would be arriving at 1:45pm, I advised you the rooms would not be ready. We were not expecting you until 2:45pm which is the time you gave me on Monday, April 30th.... More

Although a bit dated in decor, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and a good value for what we paid. I continue to appreciate the free wireless internet access as well.

Reading other reviews that say this hotel is "clean" and "comfortable" really confuses me. My past experience with Hampton Inns has been very positive for the most part, but this property is extremely disappointing. I am currently staying in the hotel, and literally do not even want to sleep in the bed. The rooms are extremely outdated, old and dirty.... More

INTRODUCTION I chose this facility for my two-night stay as it was within walking distance of a relative's home. I didn't get a chance to explore the vicinity as the trip purpose concerned a family illness. The hotel setting is quiet as it's located sufficiently back from the intersection crossing and buffered by trees. THE ROOM The room was of... More

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns, but this property needs an upgrade. I stayed last week and was charged $200 to stay one night in a "suite" which was run down and dirty. The carpet and all hard surfaces were sticky and the sheets were dirty. Motel 8 has better accomodations. Stay somewhere else if possible. Hilton needs to... More

This is an average Hampton that could use some updating. Price was good but we ended up switching to the Hampton at Broadway instead. The staff were all very nice, but the place seemed a little run down.
