Once upon a time, my family and I decided to visit Myrtle Beach on a whim. There were Wheel of Fortune auditions going on for a couple days, and my mother digs that sort of thing. This was the cheapest motel for several miles. "What the heck?" I thought, careless and bubbly as I reserved a room for one night.... More

My son and I decided to take a vacation to a new destination. NEVER again. The room was filthy. The toilet over flowed, we used all our towels to clean up the mess, told the staff about it, and was told it was due to the rain, yet we never got an clean towels. The sheets had ashes on them,... More

I and my boyfriend planned our vacation at the beach and was much needed, Booked a room here, despite reading reviews on here. BAD IDEA. It was an ocean front room and cheap. Those are the only 2 positives i can find to tell you. Very dirty, room cramped and balcony so that you had to stand to even see... More

Checked in late and absolutely could not believe the lowest level "room" we were booked into. Crummy room, tiny, dirty bathroom, no internet,(used the Days Inn signal next door), junky bed. This place was scary. I would not stay in this room again if it were free!!!!!!

I stay at nice hotels, and cheap hotels, spend 200+ nights a year in hotels, This was the nastiest hotel room I have ever stayed at, After complaining to front desk, I was told there was no other rooms, so My wife made us wipe down everything with anti bacterial wipes, I used points for a free night, and I... Good quality for the price! If you are wanting top of the line, then this is not the place but for a place to lay your head after a long beach day, it works. However, they did need to repair their lighting on the beachfront side...At night, it was hard to find it since the lights were out.

The rooms are clean: however they desperately need to be updated. Bathroom is very small. The breakfest is weak and the seating area is very small. The hotels best feature is it is on the beach. No parking issues or business street to cross with the family. They do need to do a better job cleaning the pool. The neighboring... More

Where to start. This hotel is very old and run down. The underground parking garage will not allow an SUV to clear its entrance. The hot tub showing in the pictures is also in the parking garage so you can soak your stiff back from the horrible beds while enhaling car exhaust. Whe had a so called suite on the... More

We usually stay at Holiday Inn at the Pavillion but I was not going to pay those prices.. yes I know it is July and peak season but still did not want to do it. I was a little concerned about picking Econo Lodge but after seeing the pictures on their site thought I would give it a try. We... More
