This hotel was exactly the type of experience I hoped to have in Deadwood. The hotel's decorations (including an actual set of room keys, no card entry for the rooms) helped complete a feeling that we had been transported. The restaurant within the hotel was great. We had breakfast there and it really hit the spot. The hotel was a... More

We had not booked a hotel when we arrived in Deadwood at 8pm on a Sunday night. We had to go to a few hotels before we were able to get a room at the Bullock Hotel. We had a spacious room on the side of the hotel. Great central location. Wonderful photos and furniture around the casino and dining... More

We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip! Also, we are sorry about the heater-we're working diligently on getting that fixed! Thank you!! Bullock Management More

My fiance (now wife) & myself stayed here for 4 nights. We came to Deadwood to get married. I like to stay at a different hotel with each visit. This stay was by far the best one yet. The staff is very friendly & accomodating. We ate breakfast our first morning there & I had the best omelet ever. The... More

Deadwood used to be a great place but the gambling has taken over everything. The gambling proceeds were supposed to go for "historic preservation". I don't think so. Don't visit on a Friday, Sat. or Sunday. The people have become louder, rowdier and drunker. With smoking banned inside the smokers crowd the sidewalks and literally create clouds of smoke you... My husband and I stayed at the Bullock for 3 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We decided to stay at the hotel because of all the ghost stories we had heard. We stayed in room 305 the Bullock suite because it is a Jacuzzi suite and it came highly recommended by some friends of ours. We loved every... More

We enjoy historic hotels, and this is one of the most unique we've ever stayed in. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very clean. It has been renovated, but still utilizes original fixtures. The doors are sturdy and thick, but marked with scratches. The "scars of history," my husband called them. The furniture is creaky, but of obvious age and... More

We did not stay here but would like to as we heard from some of the people on our bus that they had some ghostly encounters we were able to get some pictures in the stairway of orbs that we could not see but the camera did. My wife & I stay here several times a year. The friendly staff & unique experiences are what keep us coming back. By unique experiences, I mean things that go bump in the night. I've always been skeptical & laughed at the nuts who claim they've had supernatural experiences, but I know what I've seen & I know what I've... More
