Check in was slow even with a reservation but not a show stopper, staff was friendly. Lobby and hallway were impressive but went down hill fast from there. This is our favorite place for a staycation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and peaceful. Best of all, it's in the heart of our very charming downtown with many shops and restaurants to choose from.

I appreciate your responsiveness to my previous feedback. I have since stayed here twice more and both times the service was excellent and there were no maintenance needs that I noticed. Thank you for your responsiveness. The food at both Paddy's and Vertex is extraordinary. I always enjoy my stay.

This is a lovely hotel with perfect amenities in the heart of a vibrant downtown. Everything is within walking distance, and downtown Rapid City is a great place to explore. If you like a place to stay that is not a typical cookie cutter experience, I highly recommend it.
