This KOA was 90% empty when we arrived. There were many premium spaces empty, almost all of them. If we are asked to pay a premium summer price when not all services at the KOA are available in early May the least the KOA could do is bump us up to a better site. In the 90% empty campground in... Spent four nights here and campground is very clean, kept up nice and is very quiet. Which was a nice change from the interstate campgrounds we used on the way to Rapid City. Camp store and check in was very pleasant and the people kept insisting to let us know if we needed any directions or assistance to let them... More

This KOA was very clean, nice store, lots were close together, pool and hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of driving, had nice grass (instead of weeds) on the lot along with a fire pit and table. Overall the campground was very well kept and close to Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. The night we were there,... More

We chose this KOA because it was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. It's a large campground which made it easy to get our 5th wheel in and out. The main problem we had was the noise from the road, It was very loud. Also, there is a racetrack close by and on Friday nights it's all you... More

We stayed in a tent for four nights while we went sight seeing in the area. One problem we had was that the water/electric site we were on did not have a place for our extension cord to hook up, so we did without. Not sure why they would only leave a spot for something like a camper to hook... More

we stayed there the week before Sturgis, so there were a lot of riders, maybe that is why the prices were high. It is a big campground, too big for just two stalls and two urinals in the mens room, also the door latch was broken so the door did not stay closed. Spaces were rather cramped and sewer drain was... We stayed in one of the 5 person cabins and there were 5 of us (2 adults + 3 teenagers). Despite temps in the upper 90s, slept comfortably with the AC. We stopped in during the middle of the afternoon and even with the AC being on high all day, it was very hot. No shade for cabins, so you... More

Nice bathrooms, showers, playground and pool. The cabins don't have screen doors so the flies are everywhere. And unfortunately, the location is really bad. The cabins are in the back yard of an aging suburban neighborhood. The freeway is loud and the trees are small (definetly doesn't feel like camping). Badlands KOA is more fun.

Easy location to get our long fifth wheel in and out. Very nice pool and hot tub. Busy but staff ready to handle the 4th of July crowd. Very clean bathrooms/showers and laundry - newer than most. Ice cream social, large chess or checkers, playground etc. Best KOA we have stayed in for a long time. Nice store with gifts... More

The lots were very convenient pull-through sites, but they were just a little bit narrow and a bit close together. The service was wonderful, as was the breakfast. We stayed here in June, so it was not very crowded at all! We would definitely come back if we are up this way again. As our first KOA experience, we were... More
