i've stayed around 10 times over past 13 years. terrific owners. rooms remodled. great prices. if you"re security is a big issue its across the street from the rapid city police department. downtown and short walk to shopping, dining and entertainment.

if you're looking for a cheap place to stay, this place is it. Service was great, and the owner super friendly. Only downfall, older place and can hear lots of traffic. This motel was very clean. The owner was very personable. It was in a quiet area of downtown. The pool is small, parking is a little tight but manageable. This property is rather old, and our non smoking room had a pervasive smoky smell and the room didn't lock well.
