My husband and I had a pleasant weekend at Pinhook Planation with our friends. The facilities were nice. The bed was great - I had good night's sleep and we went to the nearby falls for a hike. The hosts were friendly and the food was good.

Ellen was a great hostess, and the outside animals were grand hosts as well! We had a wonderful time with all of them. My husband and I were looking for a place to just "get away" and Pinhook Plantation was the perfect place. Ellen is a fabulous cook - and the room was very pretty. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a "T"! Great experience.

Pinhook qualified and offered quiet surroundings and dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, comfy lodging and fabulous breakfasts, an amiable hostess ready to provide helpful and interesting information, and dogs and cats to love on. This was our first visit to a B & B and we really enjoyed it We enjoyed the history about the 1810 home and the room were spacious and vey nicely decorated. This was my first B&B experience and it was wonderful! The owners are very, very nice and hospitable. The rooms are nicer than the pictures on the website. The food was fabulous! Just follow the directions on the website, not MapQuest. It will save you about an hour.

First of all the home is decorated really nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small and older but usable. Ellen is a great host and has the perfect personality for a B&B owner.
