The park advertises there playground on the website and after checking in the kids go to check it out and find out its closed due to unsafe conditions. My family spent 4 nights here in a camping cabin and were thoroughly satisfied. The restrooms and showers were beyond clean and the staff was extremely helpful. After a long drive from Northern Virginia we arrived at Best Trav-l-Park, and within 5 minutes felt right at home. Even without the free wi-fi and cable we would have been happy, but the very best part of the park was the immaculate shower!

Stayed here a week and loved it. Good location to take in all Chattanooga has to offer. Friendly staff and everything was very clean - bathrooms, showers, laundry room, swimming pool. We were pleasantly surprised with this site unseen campground. It had by far the cleanest facilities we have ever encountered in our camping travels. Easily located off of the major highway, friendly people and nice amenities. Definitely staying there on our return journey.

It is a nice campground the people are super nice and facilities are clean the WiFi works great and is easy to connect to it is a great base location for the sights around Chattanooga. Will be back again and will be recommending to friends and family.

We spent 2 nights here in April. Large older campground that was started in 70's that is laid out & geared towards RVs but there is a grassy area in rear for tents. You just pitch your tent in grass. This is a seventies vintage campground. The sites are quite close to each other and maneuvering is very hard if you have a size able rig. Convenient to down town and civil war sites. I don't think I will come back again.
