Stayed in campground 1st decent weather weekend Spring 2013. Love that Tennessee now allows online booking at some campgrounds. Cumberland Mtn even has some sites with WES. Sites on average are very nice. I like this campground much more than those near Knoxville. Bathhouses need some attention, but for $25 per night for WES site, complaining wouldn't be fair. If you're into history, this is the place to stay. Now it is a cabin and you are in the woods. If that's what you're looking for this is the place to be. My one room cabin had a bed, sleep sofa, kitchenette, wonderful shower with strong, hot water. It's near the lake and walking distance to a decent restaurant.... More

Lovely wooded grounds close to Crossville. But the camp sites were so close together we felt like sardines. Mostly large campers some of which arrived late, dogs at some sites barked a lot not quiet environment. Fall is busiest season due to leaf color. We were there on a Thursday so weekends must really be busy!

I recently stayed in one of the AAA deluxe cabins at the Cumberland Mountain State Park. Our experience here was not horrible, nor was it anything to write home about. Pros: Quiet, lovely wooded views, wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood provided, nice linens, full and well stocked kitchen, adequately comfortable beds. Cons: Surface wise the place was clean... More

My husband and I took our first voyage in the pop-up camper to Cumberland Mtn State Park. We parked at a station as you enter on the right and for such a beautiful Fall weekend it was not crowded. It was quiet, the other campers around us were not loud or annoying. The restroom/shower facility as very adequate and there... More

My husband and I just returned from a peaceful, relaxing time in a rustic cabin at Cumberland Mountain State Park. We wanted a quiet place to get away and this fit the bill perfectly! Our cabin was not the Ritz Carlton, nor even a Hampton Inn, but very comfortable, clean and well-stocked. The staff could not have been nicer or... More

Our family of 17 stayed the weekend and from our first day the entire staff was so rude! Our cabins were disgusting there were cobwebs, black mold, and cockroaches everywhere. Not to mention the walls and ceilings had water stains which made us believe they had been flooded at some point and obviously not replaced or fixed. We felt sick... More

We've been staying at Cumberland Mountain State Park for years. We stay in one of the cabins, and they are quite comfortable. There is an onsite restaurant that has excellent food. The lake is quite peaceful, and has a walking trail around it. If you like quiet accomodations nestled in the woods, you will love Cumberland Mountain State Park in... More
