Spent a lovely weekend on this tiny island. B&B was nice and clean and very reasonably priced. Service was on a top level though! Don't even recall when I last had that lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast was rather enjoyable as well.

Came to Inishbofin on a rainy, stormy day, not knowing what to expect. The hotel was warm and welcoming. Loved the fact that we didn't have to go far to listen to live traditional music. The location is great, with wonderful sights everywhere you look. The room was clean and homey. The beds were really comfprtable. Breakfast was another delight.... More

I spend a week every year staying at the Doonmore Hotel. Its a little bit of heaven. Aileen and Andrew are fantastic hosts. The quality of food and service is consistently excellent - you will not go hungry. The bar in the Doonmore is the best spot for tunes at night. And during the day you can soak up the... More

We spent 2 nights at the Doonmore Hotel on Inish Bofin in August and would highly recommend it. The hotel is lovely, fantastic service, Andrew met us off the boat and brought us to the hotel. The highlight of the hotel for us was the absolutely wonderful music in the bar, just a group of musicians playing for the love... More

I stayed at the Doonmore last Tuesday night when my sister and brother-in-law were on the island. The island was beautiful and the hotel was great. The food was spectactular (I suggest the seafood chowder!) and the view from the hotel was amazing. We spent a good amount of time hiking the hills, cliffs, and beaches within walking distance of... Having got some good deals in other much better hotels in the rest of Ireland this trip, we did feel rather ripped off in terms of what we payed. We booked late and so didnt have a choice in which hotel to go to on the Island. There was a late vacancy in Doonmore. The hotel is OK, clean and... More

We, a group of eight girls, were on Inish Bofin to celebrate a birthday. We stayed in the Doonmore and the one thng you heard from the staff was "no problem". And nothing was a problem. We had a terrific lunch in the bar, seven of us had crab claws and they were delicious. Fresh out of the sea. We... More
