Stayed here the May bank Holiday weekend. Stayed in one of their suites. Overall the room was lovely, setting of the hotel was great and for the most part the food was exceptional. The 2 gripes I would have was that the power shower in the hotel wasn't at the level we were hoping for and that the main course... More

Went to try food the night before a wedding we were attending in the bar and it was over priced and tasteless which was disappointing considering the previous reviews on this website. Ordered several soft drinks which were flat and a beer which did not taste good. The service was quite slow as well, but the staff were very friendly.... More

My Husband & I stayed here for 2 nIghts, 17th & 18th March. We got a shock when we initially arrived as due to it being St Patricks day, it seemed like mayhem.. Kids running around the place and lots of noise. Obviously the day that's in it, it's to be expected and it did quieten down. Our bedroom was... More

Dear guest Many thanks for your review and positive feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed your break, even though you’re welcome may not have been the one you were expecting due to the St Patrick’s Day festivities going on, but glad it settled down later and you could relax. Regarding the Brassiere being moved on Sunday evening to a... More

Called in here for lunch when traveling through Athy and we were greeted by a female Duty Manager who advised us that the dining area was full and asked if we would mind dining in the "overflow" area. This was not a problem to us and we were led into another room where we were seated and attended to by... More

Spacious, spottlessly clean, well appointed room with large comfortable bed and all the facilities necessary for a relaxed overnight stay. Our offer included an excellent 4 course meal in the brasserie, which offered an interesting menu and attentive staff throughout the whole of our stay. Breakfast was very good indeed, with a varied choice. Only one downside - the bar... More
