What a gorgeous location. Mary and Vincent took excellent care of us and went beyond expectations. We were too tired to go into town for dinner so they fed us as if we were family. This is the perfect respite. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and we were made to feel welcome and safe. We spend much of... More

Incredible place. Set in the heart of Irish countryside, this little gem of a B&B is perfect. Nice comfy rooms, clean and practical attached bathrooms. The welcoming feeling was a real pleasure. Chatted with the owner at our arrival, he was back from taking care of the cows! Lovely breakfast in the morning, eggs straight from the farm. This is... More

Mary & Vincent were excellent hosts and Mary greeted us with warm scones & tea. We really enjoyed their Dairy farm and the musical talents od their son Joseph. He treateed us to some song and dance and he played the tin whistle for us. We were lucky because he was home feom school on a holiday. We accidently left... More

Most of you won't be as lucky but we were treated to a concert with our breakfast when Mary and Vincent shared a CD of their 13 year old son, Joseph. Joseph has the voice of an angel and we were fortunate to be able to hear him in person the next day when he was home on a bank... More

We stayed at Beech Lodge from 2nd - 9th June - this is our 3rd visit in less than 12 months and gives us a total of 6 weeks holidays in the Lodge. We use the lodge because it is convenient for our needs, rather than a one off holiday destination. It is always beautifully clean, tidy and welcoming. Mary... More

This was the first B&B we stayed at on our Ireland vacation, and it was the best. We were able to check in early, and had fresh scones and all the fixings upon arrival. Joseph, their son, entertained us with Irish folk tunes on his "whistle." Vincent provided us with a history of the farm and provided us with a... More

A lovely B&B in a quiet, secluded and beautiful part of Kildare (great views) - yet very close to Athy (and Clancy's traditional Irish pub). We were very happy with our one night stay here. We booked a double room and stayed in a room fit for 4 (double bed, 2 singles) The room was comfortable with tea/coffee, snacks, bottles... More

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ballindrum Farm and the welcome we received was unsurpassed. Myself and my wife stayed here a few nights ago. The welcome we got, with scones and tea, was exceptionally warm. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable.
